OSAKA: JINEN

I have yet to find another place upon the face of the Earth that comes within telescopic tasting range of Beni Toro at Jinen in Osaka.

Every time I land in Osaka my taste buds stir in anticipation of the coming event they will soon collectively rejoice in.
Max, Ichibay, and I made a date out of it.

OSAKA: DIRTY LAUNDRY

Through a dark back ally, around a corner, down some stairs. The micro-matt smelled of mildew and stale cat box, but somehow still revealed itself as yet another stumbled upon JP jem (also dried our clothes).

...or maybe I've been here a few days to long.

OSAKA: DAY1

This is what its all bout'... just landed in Osaka and despite the jetlag weighing me down like a led morphine vest, I still managed to drag my face across the asphalt (along with Ichibay) to my favorite Okonomiyaki spot. Been coming here for nine years. They know me. It's great.

AUDIT: 1008

Okay so we’re going to start doing a monthly audit of the state of affairs. These will likely just highlight a few in progress tattoos that we worked on during the previous month and some other random craps. Perhaps if you look at the audits over time they might compile some sort of progression.

So Okt was obviously a busy month. Other than the convention and the BloodWork shoot, we also carried on with our regular daily duties. I worked on a few back pieces this month including Doug’s back. This guy is a long time client and is well on his way to a bodysuit, which we are both excited about.

Ichibay stayed on after the convention and did some tattooing. Great tattooer/guy who we wish was around more often.

Tyler Outside of tattooing, Tyler stopped by on his way to rock ‘n’roll fame. Nice to know he hasnt forgotten the little people.

Analog Mascot And we had a small visitor for a couple days. Fortunately, he eventually found his way out the window.
...that’s all I got.

!!HENTAI NIHONJIN!!

Ichibay will be tattooing at Analog for the next couple days. Anyone that knows him will know that he often appears mysteriously and disappears soon after. So if you would like to get tattooed by him, now would be the time cause’ he’s here. Not to mention he is an amazing tattooer who we all quietly steal from for our own tattooing (dont act you dont do it too).

You can see a selection of his tattoos here.

Please call the studio directly if you would like to book time with Ichibay.
