BLOODWORK: CAPTURE COMPLETE

Day 4 of the San José BloodWork photo shoot has come to a close.  The calmness of a moment with nothing to do washes over us.  There are still a few beautiful rōnin wondering the planet that we hope to image, however, all the major campaigns to capture backpieces and bodysuits around the globe are now complete.  Soon we prepare for the design phase of the project.

Back in the States.  Promptly jumped into the first of four days photographing for the BloodWork: Bodies project.  This final(ly) shoot is being hosted at Analog in San José.  Should be fun.  Today was mellow.  A backpiece on Sibel and a piece by Todd on Tristen.  Tomorrow things pick up.

SHAMAH: LIMITED EDITION MACHINES

Matt has begun work on a series of limited edition tattoo machines.  I believe he's only going to produce 33 of them. Make that 32 because I'm getting one from him as soon as they're finished.

BLOODWORK: PROCESSES

Here are couple marked up comps done shortly after the photo shoots were completed. This preproduction was a process of conveying what needed to be done, working out the kinks, streamlining, & modulating the work flow.


There's piles of these marked up photos. Decided not to include the ones with obscenities and degrading remarks of frustration.
