TRAILER OF THE WEEK

Here is one for you to add to you to trip on and add to the collection.

Day 1

First day of moving to the new shop is done...well it wasn't really the first day since we have been working on it for a while now but today was the first day where we actually started to move almost everything from the old shop. A GINORMOUS THANKS to all the awesome people who came to spend most of their saturday moving crap for us and cleaning and painting and putting IKEA furnitures together and getting rid of tons of crap etc. You guys ROCK and we can't thank you enough!!
I gotta give a special thanks to our friends who helps us paint the whole place and who have been working almost non stop for I-don't-know-how-long now to make the new place look good for when we re-open. We have been sooooo lucky to have people help us and work overtime to make this happen. THANKS EVERYONE!!!

Tomorrow will start with some fleamarked action and then some more unpacking and putting up stuff. There is still a lot to do but we will be operational Monday as planned. The plan is to celebrate all this sometime in May when we are sure that we have finished everything and know that we have a floor and a frontroom.

Now a bit of relaxation before bedtime!

INGLORIOUS BASTERDS X HAITI BENEFIT

THE LOST ART OF "INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS" from SA STUDIOS on Vimeo.

Here is the artwork of The Inglorious Basterds x Haiti Benefit we had on Thursday 18th. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported.. The show SOLD OUT in one hour!

Pit Of Doom!

I have found myself with a few minutes of energy and time to Blog. No new pictures or anything but here is a picture of the pit of Doom where we are supposed to have a front room. We are still debating whether or not to keep it like this but with a small bridge from the door to the office...ad a few sharks with laserbeams and we are rocking. "hi, can I get a tribal armband with a kanji in the...ARRRGGGGG" BZZZZZZZZZZZZAP!!!

Even though we wont have a front room for a couple of weeks we are still getting closer to an awesome shop. We will start moving and finish stuff from this Thursday to Sunday...We gotta be ready for working monday morning so we got to get our busy hats on and get this moving/fixing-up party started!! Yeah!!! If you find yourself wearing said hat this weekend in Copenhagen then feel free to come join us on Schleppegrellsgade 7, 2200 Copenhagen N. There will most likely be a cleaning party and moving boxes and crap party but, hey, if you ain't got nothing better to do, Right?

Amalie and our friend Corey and her friend Sara and I went to this HUGE flea marked yesterday where I found a bunch of the things that I have been thinking about putting on the walls for like forever but the old shop just didn't seem right for this stuff so I was happy to finally be able to do it. I have decided to start colloecting the following:

Old cool keys and locks...specially the more ornamenty kind.

Antlers... You know I loves me some antlers!!

Skulls... well duuuh!!

Big old scissors.

Cool old crosses and rosaries.

I promise that there will be plenty of pictures of this as soon as we get the new shop ready for picture taking!!

I also added a few cool frames to my ever growing collection of frames. Now I just need tp produce stuff won't I?

We got some cool lamps to.

I can't wait to make this shop of cool/mystery overload!!

We also finally got or trip to Japan planed out.
We will be in Tokyo from the 3rd of April to the 3rd of May...mmmmmm...just in time for cherry blossom goodness!! Of cause I will be back with our good friends at Inkrat tattoo. If you wish to book an appointment for a tattoo then please contact Hata at Inkrat.

So that was a bit more update than I have been able to give for a while...I will do my best to keep it up!

See you soon!

ATAKers

It goes without saying (but occasionally it's worth stating) how fortunate I am to work with such a dedicated group of socially maladjusted creatives (including the guy behind the lens).
Thanks guys for flying halfway around the world to hang some pictures, sleep on floors, and scribble in a couple books.

PS... In the event of a futile water landing, and to ensure posthumous pioty, I forward dated this entry to post while flying 30,0000' above the Pacific.

THE PATH: HASHIMOTO

This trip has seriously bogged down the mind and body. With multiple exhibitions, book signings, and top secret suicide missions, I'm beside myself having nothing to do but tattoo for the entire week.

Started a freshy yesterday...

Little boxes

Here is a little blog update so you don't forget about this blog.
Busy busy as always with the tattoo making and then also taking care of my wife and trying to make sure that we can have a shop from the 1st of march. Thanks to our friends and handymen it looks like we might just make it in time...well there is still small details to be fixed like the missing floor in the front room. It will come...eventually!
This weekend we decide to do our part to make it look more ready so we joined our painters and, well, painted. Today we also made it to a ginormous fleamarked where we found tons of goodies to put in the new shop. Can't wait to put things on the walls!!! After that little trip we went back to the land of brushes and pits of doom to sling some paint on walls and toilets. We are getting there...

But here is a bit of what I have been putting on people. More later and also more shop stuff soon I hope. 3 more days of work in the old shop and the it's time to move!

Femke from Belgium came back after 4 years to finish her rib piece but since she was finally here she might as well start her other side...so we did. It's a start. A bat and a rose is to be added later...hopefully sooner than later!

Ole's wrestler arm is almost done! Almost!! Awesome!!

Sam dropped by from England. She were kind enough to bring about a ton of candy AND home made cake. AWESOME!! With her home she got this sloth...now named Allan. Thanks Saaaaaaaaam!

Hank came over from Sweden to get his Cello playing antler lady. After a bit of a late start we got her outlined just in time to throw him in a cap so he could make it back to Sweden.

Now, shower and the last episode of the 5th season of Weeds!! Suck that it has to be so short!!

Through a dark back ally, around a corner, down some stairs. The micro-matt smelled of mildew and stale cat box, but somehow still revealed itself as yet another stumbled upon JP jem (also dried our clothes).
