SOUL SUNDAY
Jill Scott is one of our favorite Soul Singers. Invest in her music and try not to make to many kids in the process.
Hit The Lights
This last week has been busy but good and eventful. We had our German friend Eckel working with us. Great guy and I hope he will come back to us soon. He was one of these really easy guests who took care of himself and didn't need any big help or anything.
This week I also went to Metallica who were playing not one but five shows in Copenhagen. With them they had Lamb Of God and Mastodon who I was most excited about seeing. Unfortunately they were given the first spot of 25 minutes and with the smallest setup on stage and with the worst sound ever. I really hope they are coming back on a headliner tour soon! After that Lamb Of God played for about 50 min. It was like the sound guy were starting to wake up a bit but the sound still wasn't the best. Metallica played for 2 hours and if it hadn't been for Lars' lack of rythmic skills it would have been an awesome show...well that and the way to many new songs. But other than that it was fun! Laser, fire big floating coffins that held the many lamps that made a crazy lightshow. Good stuff.
This week was another international week. One day we had Denmark, Germany, Finland, Australia, The UK and Austria represented. Crazy. Well my new Finnish friend got a really nice Olympus camera tattooed. As a Photo geek I was very excited to do this.
Friday I tattooed Eric who works on and off in Helsingør. Great guy. It was a very relaxed day where we just hung out while I tried to do my design. Wehad planed the day so I only had him so we had time to hang out and not just tattoo him and rush him out the door. More good times.
Well a bunch of other things happened and it has been a fun but busy week but now it is vacation time!!! Hopefully this will mean a lot of drawing and painting and photographing.
Today I hope to get on with my Death Metal banner for London where Chiss D and I will share booth and make two banners that fits together. Hopefully this will also become skateboards, tshirts and prints but more about this later!

GET GRATEFUL!
Sometimes I think that everyone has seen the films that I Love.. but I forget that there is a new generation out there that thinks Biggie Smalls is Old School. For those of you that do not know Daniel Day-Lewis its time to get excited and go buy his movies. Like these two trailers. These are films that need your full attention, put your cell phone on silent, kick back and educate on great film making.

CHRIS ROCK VS MIKE JACK
Check out Chris Rock letting Mike Jack have it.. This is a good balance to even out all the ass kissing that has been going around lately. Most of the people who are kissing his ass today were not there during his money troubles, addiction and accusations..

subject: tattoo request
HanziSmatter site is amazing, great idea :) I love reading it. Chinese and Japanese characters looks great, but I still don't understand why people are tattooing their names in those languages, when they come from German, England or Poland, like me.
I guess they want to look cool, like my friend, who is 100% sure that he has "Julia" tattoo on his left hand.
Is he? Please, help me to translate it right (if it's not ok) because he is playing so smart, that would be a pleasure to prove him wrong ;)
Greetings from Poland,
Kama
珠丽娅 is an acceptable phonetic Chinese translation for Julia, however all characters were done mirrored.

subject: Look at this Arrivals sign from Sweden
This is from Arlanda, Stockholm's international airport. They have a lot of these signs.
In Sweden, we pride ourselves on being way better than everybody else, by the way.
Johan, Sweden
It appears manufacturer of the sign did not have correct language and fonts pack installed. Instead of displaying 到達 (arrivals), the second character showed up as a rectangular box.

BLOODWORK: FINAL PROOFS
Got the last set of proofs. These ones have all the various gloss and matte varnishes, metallics, and such. Before giving the final okay to the printer, I hung up the new set in my office/bedroom at 3T HQ so I can mull them over for a few days.
Oh and I'm sure you noticed the oversized pile of bound paper sitting atop the makeshift desk.
That my friends is the book mockup.
Feast your eyes on these...
This is a brick... full of truly amazing tattoos.
JP: 3T HQ
I like this flick, its a view from the balcony at 3T HQ. In the background one can see the city radiating electricity as the mother ship prepares for takeoff. The surrealism of Ussun's floating head seems confounded more by the lone watcher sitting in the foreground.
TOKYHOES
After doing Tokyo hotel (Tokyho) tatts all day Matt and I bought some whiskey and wandered around the streets of Tokyo, 2am and the streets were still packed. During our early morning stroll we added an "es" to the Tokyho phrase and ended up with "Tokyhoes". Got back to the room where Matt consumed a box of Special K with freeze dried strawberries. I was confused as to how smoking and simultaneously eating strawberry cereal could be appetizing but...

BON QUI QUI
Check out this is up and coming Latina Comedian who is now a regular on Mad T.V. Keep your eye for her..
JP: FOOD, WORK, FRIENDS
Matt, Masa, and I bounced around JP on our way from Osaka to Tokyo. Eventually made it all the way up to Yokohama before scooting back down to Tokyo. Checked into a weekly hotel, ate, got drunk, wandered around, blacked out. Woke up and started tattooing (pine for the days when tattooing out of a hotel was no problem). Later in the evening we visited with friends and had some really amazing food. For the next five days we basically repeated the same daily routine before bouncing our way back to Osaka.
Met some new people and experienced a few entirely new tastes.
More adventure flicks here!

Shake it like a polarized picture
These pictures is all just random Iphone pictures taken with the Polarize app. Pretty nifty. It might not be the best phone camera but with a little help from some applications, it ain't too bad. You take a picture and it turns it into what you see here. Then you can choose to tag it with a "hand writing".
First some more recent pictures from this years Roskilde Festival and hanging with our new friends in Cancer Bats and Co.
Just a little random post. Hope you liked it anyway.
