3 Weekend Worthy things To Do

1) Organizing your Closet

I'm not talking about a full-scale closet-operation but about placing favorite items for the coming week together on a rotation rack or on a shelf! Shoes, Bags, matching accessories, blouses, jeans etc. Some quality Closet time :)

2) Home Decor

And I'm not talking about a complete re-do here either! I'm talking about changing details; fresh flowers, changing the pictures in your Frames, re-organizing your display, book shelves and even pillows and rugs! No shopping needed (except the flowers)

3) Photoshop Actions

Maybe at first sight a bit weird in this list, but photoshop actions are really fun to play around with if you have some free-time on your hands!

DeviantART has an amazing collection of free photoshop actions, giving you lighting effects, vintage effects and about every other photo editing effect you can imagine! But it takes time browsing around and not all actions will work or give an effect that goes with your photos!

Below is one of only a few actions I liked! Download it (here) and open it in photoshop actions (go to your actions > load actions) When you press the little play button it will automatically run the effect on your photo!

SHOPPING: Scotch and Soda

Remember that I mentioned Scotch&Soda a little while ago? (in this post here)

So I made my way back to the shop for some sale shopping and above all to come home with one of their delicious checked shirts! What happened is that I came back home with trousers haha, and of course now I regret not coming home with shirts + trousers.. (ohhh the pains of a shopaholic)

ps. Lately I'm into slight masculine home-decor details as well like using empty coffee cans as vases..

Really Red

I'm wearing; H&M red dress, Miista open toe heels

See, I do have some color in my wardrobe..
The H&M dress is a very in your face orange-y-red, one of the few shades of red that goes with fair complexions (but maybe that's just my opinion) The other day I noticed that Zara has some jersey shawls that are the same intense red, I was thinking of buying a few and then make something else out of them but its just an idea..

Of course I wouldn't be me if I didn't like to dress up red with pastel pinks, ha!
Pastel habits die hard ;)

Sunday

I'm wearing; Satorisan sneakers, Stylestalker blazer, H&M leggings, Chloe top

As promised an outfit with some color and some photos of my new home!

The velvet plaid and pillows covering the Chair are from H&M home (bought online just a few weeks ago) and the Red bench, the lamp on the bench and the cream colored yarn sit sack are from a store in the East Village called "Tiny Apartments" the big pompoms are a "do it your self", I would have made more and bigger ones if I didn't run out of yarn haha

The sneakers are from a new Spanish brand called Satorisan and are kind of like Vans but then made out of a perforated washed-out-look leather. And for those who aren't familiar with Stylestalker, seriously check it out!

The past few weeks I felt so shitty because my hair had turned a brassy yellow and my very fair skin was blotchy/patchy thanks to a decade of sun-damage and a smoking habit..

Seriously be very careful with the sun especially if you have a fair skin, you don't see what it does when you are in your 20's but when you hit 30s like me it will bite you in the ass, same with smoking.

Anyway I had my fix and feel so much better! With fix I mean lots of silver shampoo and a self tanner haha.. I used the Sensai Silky Bronze from Kanebo, a bit pricey but the color came out nice, still a bit too orange for me but I think that's just inevitable on fair skin and it left my skin radiant and moisturized.. Seriously I feel rejuvenated lol its like a body foundation, now I don't have to wear make-up ;)
