SOUL SUNDAYS

What's up welcome to Soul Sundays!
Today's selection is Betty Wright with my favorites "Tonight is the Night", "The best girls don't always win", "Girls, can't do what the guys do", "No pain, No Gain" these songs are all Anthems to either how to keep your man, How to win your man back, How to get over your man or losing your Virginity to that special someone or not that special someone! HAHA

Bessie Regina Norris, better known by her stage name, Betty Wright (born December 21, 1953) is a Miami-based soul and R&B singer-songwriter, who won fame in the 1970s with hits such as "Clean Up Woman" and "Tonight Is the Night". A pioneering singer-songwriter and entrepreneur, she remains one of the few black female musicians to have a gold record on her own vanity label. She possesses a four-octave vocal range and is adept at using the whistle register.

I remember my mom always playing "Tonight is the night" she said it reminded her of mu dad... I always wondered why & As I got older I finally heard the words.. If you've never heard it you should check it out..HAHA

Thanks for "Tooning" In!
