I'm really wearing these leggings with about everything lately, the color is just perfect and uhm yes its velvet haha... me wearing velvet... again... *_*

The headband (also seen in the video) is from a brand called Ludlow, I couldn't find a site to link to, sadly, because their stuff is pretty amazing...

I always love when my work days seem like a mix of work and hanging out with friends. Had one of those days yesterday with our buddy Jon who came to get a little love declaration done. Ms. Ama'r.
A good day with a lot of good music makes a good day at work. Yes sir.

Eckel got the debut album from Mumford And Sons from one of his customers. I had seen one video from them that I really liked but didn't really know what to expect from the rest. You see, I really REALLY hate Irish-kinda folk music and it doesn't get better if you mix it with other genres like punk. No I REALLY don't like Dropkick Murphys!! But these guys somehow managed to slip through the hate net. It didn't take many beats either to convince Jon that this was some serious awesome shit. That's why this video is dedicated to Jon and the proud ship Ms. Ama'r.




A last little update on the San Francisco art show. Here is some cool pictures from the opening night of the "Sream With Me" show at the 111 Minna Gallery. You will have to scroll down almost to the bottom to get to the event.

Over the weekend, at the Bay Area Convention of the Tattoo Arts, we shot 26 more backpieces and bodysuits for the next BloodWork project.  Thank you Horitaka for providing us with a spacious room from which to base the weekend's operations.

Enormous appreciation to all the contributing tattooers, and certainly to all of the collectors who were more than patient as we worked through the backlog each day.

I have a friend from work who has a tattoo on his arm. Since I knew about your blog I tried taking a pic of it & check with you if he really knows the meaning of what he has or not. He said it's written in Chinese and it says something like - there's nothing like mom.

The first character does not exist in written Chinese. However, there is one character 冇 only exists in written Cantonese, which means "not have". Of course, that is not what has been tattooed here.

Tattoo does not mean "there is nothing like mom", rather "not have the likeness of my mother".
