ATAK: DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS: STEPHANIE

Stephanie is a long time collaborator.  Hard pressed to recall anyone that has been getting tattooed by me on a regular bases as long as her.  Man, she must've been 17 (oops, I mean 18) when I did that little tattoo on her ankle.  Then a backpiece... sleeves.  She's Ghost in the Cloak all the way.

Anyway,  here's a time-lapse of the first session on her right sleeve.  Its a little too fast but it tiz what it tiz.  Enjoy.

Today I just felt like mixing different patterns unusually together, sketchy florals, dots and an Asian Kimono print. And since I was busy making no sense I decided to wear the red Clog Boots instead of (safely) gray, pastel or black wedges or boots ;)

GHOST IN THE CLOAK SOCIETY of Life Abundant in the Face of Death Imminent

Historians take note, the first annual rendezvous of the Ghost in the Cloak Society of Life Abundant in the Face of Death Imminent is adjourned.

Objectives:

1. Maintain an active social network amongst the tattooers and serious collectors of the Analog Tattoo Arts Kolectiv.
2. Relax amongst brethren.
3. Encourage all further progress along the path of the tattoo.
4. See some cool tattoos.

Roughly Ordered Minutes:

1. Casually congregated at each individual's pace at the Koji Sake Lounge.
2. Got half naked.
3. Made and/or reaffirmed acquaintances.
4. Delivered to the digestive organ of animate selves various quantities of sake and/or beer.
5. Mingled with several women who sell their own abilities, of whom Mr. Miner was thoughtful enough to invite... dude, what were you thinking?... was funny though.
6. Discussed in varying detail the marks up the skins and/or other topics of varying importance.
7. Raffled some junk.
8. Precariously situated selves on and around the main booze staging area for to take a commemorative photograph.
9. Exhausted the allocated supply of libations.
10. Disappeared into the night.

Thanks to everyone for attending.  Already looking forward to next year!

First outfit with the new Red Clog boots! The booties are perfect for floral and vintage inspired looks, although I'm sure I will actually wear them with everything...

and this outfit remembers me that I totally need some new belts! this is my only brownish belt, that I've got for years now and a good belt can add so much to an outfit.. I'm actually quite clueless when it comes to shopping good belts and have no idea for what to go!! I always end up shopping gold belts and none of what I actually need... some serious good belt suggestions needed :)

Jay!!! My Jeffrey Campbell Red-y Mercury Boots just came in from Modcloth!!
Man I love these Babies to death and they are comfortable too! Can't wait to take some outfit pics with these :)

For the longest time it was hard to choose between these and the Solestruck jeffrey campbell Underground clog boot in Tan/Nude. The nude colored clog boot was already sold out in my size so my choice was easily made, and for the goods because these red booties are perfect to spice up every pale, dusted and musty outfit.
